RNA extracted from Avian Orthoavulavirus (Newcastle Disease Virus), lineage 5b. This isolate (APMV-1/pheasant/UK/739/2005) has been cultured in embryonated fowl eggs for 3 passages.

RNA extracted from Avian orthoavulavirus 1 (Newcastle Disease Virus), lineage 4b. This isolate (APMV-1/partridge//UK(Scotland)/7575/2006) has been cultured in embryonated fowl eggs for 3 passages.

Rabbit polyclonal antiserum raised against BPL inactivated West Caucasian bat lyssavirus. The antiserum has been shown to specifically neutralize West Caucasian bat lyssavirus.

RNA from West Caucasian bat lyssavirus, RV3384, in HPLC water. The RNA was extracted from virus cultured in BHK-21 cell using Trizol LS.

A panel of 11 samples, including eight extracts from phylogroup 2 & 3 lyssaviruses, RABV and two NTC's (no tissue control). The panel can be anonymised so that the laboratory does not know which RNA comes from which virus. Results will be given to the requesting laboratory on request. The panel would be good for test development and assessing staff competence. RNA from the following viruses will be included: Rabies virus, Lleida Bat Lyssavirus, Ikoma virus, Shimoni Bat virus, Mokola virus and Lagos Bat Lyssaviruses a, b, c & d.

A panel of 12 samples, including 10 RNA extract from different phylogroup 1 lyssaviruses and two NTC's (no tissue controls). The panel can be anonymised so that the receiving laboratory does not know which virus is which, results given to the receiving laboratory on request.

A panel of 8 samples, including six RNA extracts from different rabies isolates and two NTC's (no tissue control). The source of the rabies isolates can be modified to meet individual needs, area/region isolated from, host species, etc. Also, the panel can be anonymised so that the receiving laboratory does not know which samples are positive and negative, the results will be given on request from the lab. The panel would be ideal for testing staff competence and proficiency.

Anti-European Bat Lyssavirus type 2, polyconal sera. Heat inactivated (56 degrees for 30 minutes). Raised in rabbits using beta-propiolactone inactivated tissue culture supernatant.
