    Dear EVAg Team,

    This is Nayoung at Bionote.

I am writing to inquire about the specific "clade" information for the Mpox virus Clade 1 (012V-06039).

We are particularly interested in the detailed classification of this virus strain, including its clade assignment.

Could you kindly provide us with this information at your earliest convenience?

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Nayoung Lee

    Dear Nayoung,

I am not really sure I understand your specific question.

Briefly, clade designation is accomplished with Nextclade, through its pre-built phylogenies and tree-placement. Is it an answer that is relevant to the question?

We have not performed any tests other than sequencing for Clad definition.

    Best regards,

    Samir
