Product Description
Ref-SKU:
001N-03399 Infectious Subgenomic Amplicons Reverse genetic system for chimeric virus CH-17D / ZIKV. It consists of three non infectious overlapping DNA fragments (cloned into pUC57 vector) . These products enable to obtain infectious RNA virus after amplification by PCR, and transfection into susceptible cells. The chimeric virus systems were constructed using the yellow fever 17-D vaccine strain as a genetic backbone and by replacing prM/E from this vaccine strain with those of the Asian ZIKV PF epidemic strain. As the structural proteins are all located in the first fragment, this one is the chimeric fragment, the two others are from YFV-17D vaccine system.
